LAYER YOUR LIGHTS

When designing a room, always layer your light fixtures. Have a variety of different styles and shapes of light fixtures like table lamps, floor lamps, chandeliers, night lights… etc. This will create warmth and cast interesting shadow shapes on the wall, which gives the room depth and interest making the space extra cozy 💡🩷❤️🔌.

THE LAST PIECE OF THE PUZZLE

Finally, the kitchen feels complete☑️ 🎉🤓. Renovations took way longer than expected but definitely was worth the wait. I decided against installing any recessed or track lights. I wanted an old world feel. A kitchen lit up by random light fixtures, at different heights and lots of candles to illuminate a beautiful glow in the evenings. This vintage IKEA Löv lamp design by Hagberg is the prefect missing piece to my new old kitchen 🤌🏼💡🔌.
